NOC Operator

We are seeking a NOC Operator to monitor, control, and follow up on tasks for the operation of high availability value-added equipment and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and executing the daily operational activities needed to manage IT services and the supporting IT infrastructure.
• Performing regular checks on network hardware and software.
• Responding to network alerts and hardware malfunctions.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting network errors.

Qualifications

• Studies in Computer Science, Telecommunications, IT or other relevant field.
• Proactive mindset.
• Problem-solving attitude and self-taught profile.
• Capacity for analysis and research.
• Autonomy to execute assigned tasks and achieve continuous improvement.
• Thorough knowledge of Linux operating systems and operating them at the console level (bash).
• Analytical problem-solving skills and effective communication to achieve fast and accurate results are a must.
• Advanced English and Spanish required.

‍Experience

• Experience in handling test and diagnostic tools, process documentation, and failure analysis is required.
• Fluency in monitoring software tools (Nagios, Pandora, Zabbix).
• Fluency in project management tools (JIRA, Mantis).
