Relive the MWC19 experience with usMarch 21, 2019
In 2018, mobile financial services platform, MTS, from Inswitch was selected by the state telecommunications company, ANTEL, and the Bank of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, BROU, to develop the electronic wallet "tuapp". This is a mobile application open to all customers of every bank and mobile companies of Uruguay.
This project is led by ANTEL and BROU, whose users can now link their accounts to tuapp (the rest of the banks have already agreed on their integration and will be enabled in 2020)
OVER 200K USERS
Less than a year after relaunched, tuapp has already reached more than 200,000 active users.

Tuapp is the first application in Uruguay that can be installed on device regardless of the mobile phone operator. Top-ups can be made for any of the operators available in the country.

Transfers: send and receive money quickly and easily.
Payment in stores with QR Code under the EMV standard.
P2P transfer knowing only the recipient's mobile number.
Official games and bet.
Mobile top-ups (in different companies of the country).
Multi-profile: Client and store profile
Bill payments: water, electricity, common expenses, cable TV, sport clubs adn health services.
Scheduling ID cards appointments.
Shopping online at the automated Antel Go store.
With the successful implementation of the project, Inswitch added a new success case to its history in the mobile financial services universe, by developing, together with ANTEL and BROU, an open ecosystem that guarantees interoperability of network operators and financial inclusion.
